A Random Thought – Republican’s Are Anti-American!

I’ve decided I’m going to post short, random thoughts as they occur to me. I have a lot of them and they don’t always warrant a full post, but at least deserve a thought or to. Maybe they will spark others to think more about them and act.

It seems that the Republicans are plotting to hurt our country and it’s economy with this debt limit game and holding senior citizens and medicare hostage so they can give more to the rich. Isn’t that treason? Their strategy of opposing everything the President does, to me, shows an utter lack of patriotism. Definition of “treason” from Dictionary.com.

1. the offense of acting to overthrow one’s government or to harm or kill its sovereign.
2. a violation of allegiance to one’s sovereign or to one’s state.
3. the betrayal of a trust or confidence; breach of faith; treachery.

  1. just read a real bullshit article on huffington post so am steaming now more than ever. Here’s the article: http://www.nationaljournal.com/magazine/obama-s-ratings-20110603

On huffington post they call it Polls have some bad news about Obama. What a fucking joke man! People are realizing that the republicans are working on blocking progress and helping others more than ever and mayhaps the main reason people are looking at the country as going in the wrong direction is because of republican obstruction.

The mere fact that people seem to look at the country going in the wrong direction and while Obama’s approval ratings are good tells you that they aren’t blaming Obama for this one. Fuck the media sucks!

  2. Yeah I agree, it sounds like treason to me, especially when the majority leader said he hopes President Obama fails.

    • Rush Limbaugh stated such at the time of the inauguration and unlike much rubbish from Rush and the teabaggers, no Republican leader has the guts to stand up against the REICH-wing reactionaries who have hijacked the once great “Party of Lincoln”.

  4. Okay I deleted my account with huffington post. That tea bagging bitch pissed me off once too often.

Sorry if I offended anyone by using the word bitch but I figure thats the best way I can describe the teabagger.

  5. The Republican Party has been in the majority in the House of Representatives for five months and have introduced ZERO jobs bills. Of course, they blame President Obama for the sluggish recover. The title of Andrew Leonards post in Salon sums of the current state of affairs.

The GOP response to the jobs report: The Earth is flat and two plus two equals five

The Hill reports the House Republican response to Friday morning’s distressing jobs report.

House Republicans pinned the blame for Friday’s disappointing jobs report squarely on the White House, saying the Obama administration’s “over-taxing, over-regulating and over-spending” has stifled economic growth.

“One look at the jobs report should be enough to show the White House it’s time to get serious about cutting spending and dealing with our ailing economy,” Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) said.

How many blatant untruths can a Republican speaker of the House stuff into one sentence? Quite a few!

  6. Yep, and I wasn’t too excited about Congress wildly applauding everything that Netanyahu said either. Seemed treason-like to me.
Although I think that was both Republicans and Democrats.

  7. Once again, you’ve hit the nail on the head. I took it a step further in a piece I wrote about who the true “traitors” are in our fair and balanced country. Check it out here:
