  1. lets all give up our freedom ; lets have the gov tell us how to live&pay for everthing/ we the people are the gov not them so lets give up our freedom and have obama tell us what we can do &what we can’t do

  2. Nice attempt at TROLLING Michael but name just ONE FREEDOM you’ve lost since Obama has been our president. He hasn’t even taken away any guns as the NRA keeps saying he would do. Mitt Romney signed a law in Massachusetts banning assault weapons. But the REICH doesn’t want you to know that. Stop watching Faux News and get your information from someplace besides the Republican propaganda machine.

  3. As someone who marched for civil rights in the 1960’s I didn’t trust what people were saying in late 2008, that with the election of Barack Obama, it “proved” we had become a post-racial society. WRONG! I have never seen the Party of Lincoln as racist as it is today.

A recent AP Poll, found that 51 percent of Americans now express explicit anti-black attitudes, compared with 48 percent in a similar 2008 survey. When measured by an implicit racial attitudes test, the number of Americans with anti-black sentiments jumped to 56 percent, up from 49 percent since the last presidential election. In both tests, the share of Americans expressing pro-black attitudes fell.

For all of those racists who believed the now discredited “Bell Curve” book of the early 90’s that attempted to “prove” that whites are inherently more intelligent than blacks, I am sure seeing an articulate, intelligent occupant of the White House grinds on them to no end. Racism may not be as overt as in the many decades before the 1960’s, but the dog whistles are louder than ever. Upwards mobility of American blacks, some making big money now especially in athletics and entertainment, may be causing this increasing racial rift that is leading many whites to hold contempt for blacks. You know blacks like Oprah, just don’t “know their place” anymore. –*snark*– And with racists like Rush Limbaugh, the talking heads at Fox News, et al, sowing hate 24/7, racial healing can’t take place. There is constant trumpeting from Donald Trump and others that Obama doesn’t deserve his station in life….that he only got there by “affirmative action”.

So I fear this election more than 2008 will be centered on racial hate.
