Dylan Ratigan Covering For Republicans!

Heather over at Crooks and Liars has a post up about Dan Senor’s appearance on Dylan Ratigan’s show. Dylan pulls an Andrew Breitbart and selectively edits a Jon Stewart segment that left the slam on Senor on the cutting room floor.  Here is a piece of Heather’s post…

And shame on Dylan Ratigan for sparing Senor any embarrassment and misleading the viewers with the very selective editing of that Daily Show clip. Anyone who didn’t watch the entire segment would have no idea that Stewart called out Senor and showed him on Fox & Friends fear mongering over the Saudi prince’s Kingdom Foundation and lying by omission about his stake in Fox. Looks like Ratigan didn’t want to make Senor have to explain why he didn’t want the viewers at Fox to know the Saudi prince they were fear mongering about owns part of the network they were watching.

  1. O/T, Jim (and I know you HATE Huff Post), but take a look at this one:

  2. Staci,

Was this the article about this is not a recovery. Now when Bernanke speaks about how great the recovery, you will know that it is just smoke and mirrors. The administration would have been better off just giving the unwilling to work 100k, a new car, and either pay off their mortgage or one years rent. Would have accomplished something instead of wasting 800 billion dollars and accomplish nothing.

At least Joe Biden is fooled but few others are. The CBO, interesting how the head of the CBO changes with each administration, reported that without the “stimulus” bill unemployment will reach 8.5% and with the “stimulus” bill it will be 6%. Guess team Obama had other opinions.

  3. Ralph, you are a perfect example of why the Republicans aren’t worth even dealing with. Perfect example….

Clinging to a projection of an unemployment rate that was made before Obama even took office and saw the real numbers…based on the numbers the Bush administration had been telling them in transition. You are clinging to a talking point from 2 years ago. Most people have moved beyond that, oh but not Ralph.

  5. Dylan Ratigan is dissing the White House today for being a hypocrite, for “backing away from democracy” in Egypt. Seems Dylan thinks Obama is listening to the likes of Beck, now, the latter fearing the Muslims will take over there to set up the “Caliphate”!!! /snark

Dylan wonders if Obama is just giving time for Mubarak to round up all the demonstrators, jail them (millions of jail cells in Egypt???), and then allow a new dictatorship to be installed in Egypt.

    • So MSNBC has Dylan Ratigan, a Republican posing as an angry, anti corporatist, centrist.

We have Cenk Uygur, a Republican posing as an angry, populist liberal.

We have Ed Schultz, a Democrat swept up in the anti-Obama, angry common man…who, the more I watch him, the more I realize how dim he is on a lot of things. Not the brightest bulb in the bunch, to put it politely.

Lawrence O’Donnell and Rachel Maddow are both very good, in my opinion. I don’t always agree with them and their take on things, but I think they and Jon Stewart are the best things on TV…politics-wise.

I just read that the CEO of AOL is a very conservative guy…the one that Arianna hit it off so well with. I wonder why that is?

      • Ed Schultz tonight seemed very pro-Obama and defended his speaking before the U.S.Chamber of Commerce which both Ratigan and Cenk Uygur trashed. Maybe Ed is reading this blog! :)

  6. Timothy Armstrong is a rugged, handsome RICH guy near Arianna’s age. She has been rumored to have slept her way to the top, so there might be other “benefits” joining AOL, too.
His pic is on the slideshow here:
