A Refresher On Our Rights As U.S. Citizens
I’m pasting below a few chunks of the constitution as a reminder to some folks in our country who apparently don’t know what is in it. Enjoy! Here is the whole thing.
Amendment 4 – Search and Seizure. Ratified 12/15/1791.
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
Amendment 14 – Citizenship Rights. Ratified 7/9/1868. Note History
1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.








I’m going to read the whole thing as soon as I finish typing this comment. Every time I do, I get the chills. It is quite a profound document. It reminds me of the principals that America was founded on that no media filter, pundit, politician or spinster can twist. It’s just me and the wisdom of our founding fathers.
