Where Liberalism Is Alive and Well!

Unanswered Questions!

Is it just me, or does the media love the phrase “there are many unanswered questions.” Well yeah, questions are freakin easy to ask, whether they are on topic or off topic. It often creates controversy where there is none, implies guilt when there may not be any and is the refuge of the lazy journalist. It’s not a conservative thing or liberal thing, it’s a crappy media thing.

  1. They do indeed love that phrase. Another favorite? “Some are saying”. (and who needs to know who ‘some’ are?)

And the ‘unanswered questions’ are often unanswered because these bobble heads don’t bother to check if there are any answers.

I’m very glad to hear you say it’s not a right/left thing. It’s lazy journalists. That is true. Absolutely true.

  2. Yo Moe,
Even though I am an extreme liberal, this type of lazy journalism, misleading journalism, pisses me off. Even with my dislike of ole Bush, I still miss the days when journalists confirmed things before printing or spouting off. There is such a race to be the first to report something, the standards have fallen.

    • Sure enough. They seem to think that being first IS the point.
